Do you have a vision for your life?

Do you have a vision for your life?

Most people let the conditions and circumstances in their lives dictate what they think they can and cannot do. They let the economy, their calendar or checkbook tell them if they can do something.

Living a vision driven life is far more expansive and creative.

We get to create a life we would love to live.  We get to be in the driver’s seat. Henry Ford lived from the concept that the same mind that can think of an idea can also bring it into reality.  He said,

“Either you think you can or you think you can’t, either way you’re right. “

We want to be thinking we can, but first we need to be clear on what it is we want.  In the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill , he interviewed 500 of the most successful people of his time.  People like, Firestone, Alexander Graham Bell, Roosevelt, Ford, Edison, Carnegie, these were the business rock stars of that era. He interviewed them to discover their secrets and habits that lead to their success.

One of the things they all had in common is they had a written vision for what they wanted to achieve.

They were clear and detailed about what that was.  They read their vision every morning and night keeping them focused on where they were going.  This left little room for fear doubt or worry.

Like these successful men you want to write a vision for your life.  What would you love your life to look and feel like 3 years from now?  Only consider the what, not the how as you write your vision.  You also want to consider all areas of your life, so you’re not rich in one area but bankrupt in another.  Read it twice daily.  Then as you come across an obstacle, keep your vision or end result in mind.  This will keep you thinking from the solution and not the problem.

Albert Einstein  said,

“We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.”

Let yourself dream big and dream boldly!

Believing in you,
