The Second Agreement – Don’t Take Anything Personally
Today, I am talking about the second agreement in Don Miguel Ruiz’s book, The Four Agreements, “Don’t Take Anything Personally.”
Don Miguel Ruiz says when we take things personally, we are making it all about ourselves. When someone says something to us that isn’t kind, we can look to see if there is any truth in it, and then let it go. Often, if someone says something unkind to us and we react, it’s because we already think that about ourselves. Or, it may be bringing up something that needs healing in us.
